What to draw, and what to specify
Two systems, each with its own minimum pitch, module sizes and details. Here is the data by system, the assembly they share, and the manufacturers' datasheets.
The lines you'll draw from
Each value is named to its system. The full table, with warranties and certifications, is on the compare page.
| Item | Roofit Velario®Roofit Solar Energy OÜ | SolRoof FIT VOLTBP2 Sp. z o.o. |
|---|---|---|

| UL 61730 listing (US) | Not claimed; being verified | Not claimed; being verified |
- Values as published by each manufacturer (datasheet, factsheet or installation manual), converted to US units.
- Below a system's minimum pitch, the roof continues in standing-seam metal rated for that slope, detailed to match.
What to draw
- Structural deck sized by the engineer for the roof's design snow and wind loads.
- Underlayment to the manufacturer's instructions and local code, with ice-dam protection at eaves and valleys where code calls for it.
- Battens and air gap to the manufacturer's layout, open at the eave and venting at the ridge.
- Active and plain panels joined at standing seams; active panels in clean fields, penetrations in plain areas.
- Matching metal trim at eaves, rakes, hips, valleys and ridge, with a vented ridge cap.
- A conduit path from the roof exit to the inverter location, and space for the inverter, disconnects and any battery.
Datasheets
The manufacturers' documents, as published. They list certifications as each manufacturer states them; we don't claim a UL listing for either system until we've verified it.
Roofit Velario®
Send us the drawings
Send elevations and a roof plan. We'll mark up where each system can go active, the plain-metal areas, the trim, and the conduit path.
Attribution. Roofit and Velario® are products of Roofit Solar Energy OÜ (Estonia). SolRoof and FIT VOLT are products of BP2 Sp. z o.o. (EU). Solar Seam is an independent installer of both.
